Rogueish Fun and Games – A Gandyl the Grey Caption Contest!

Greetings from behind the storyboard, fellow rogues!

So, I’ve noticed that the little eye comic strips I’ve done recently to illustrate a rogue’s thought processes (here and here) have been quite popular amongst my fellow adventurers out there. I was going to do another one for my most recent post, but then it occurred to me that it would be neat to see what you all came up with instead!

Say What?

So here’s the quest: I’ve included five eye pictures here, featuring my Gandyl the Grey (Gandalf inspired) eye makeup look. Your challenge, should you choose to join the party for this adventure, is to make up captions for them! These little captions can be in the form of a continuing story, or just the thought you think might be going through Gandyl’s head at that moment. The whole thing can be LOTR themed, or not at all. It’s up to you! The captions can be of epic length, or pithy brevity. You can use the pictures in any order, and you can use any number of pictures. OMG, TOTAL FREEDOM. 😀

Please post your captions in the comments, in the format (for example):

#1: It’s an eyeball.

#5: Another eyeball!

#3: Much look. So eyeball. Very eyeshadow. Wow.

etcetera.

Prizes!

There is no fixed number of prizes (because I am making this up as I go along – can’t you tell?), but they will all consist of hand-drawn badges (for your blog/FB/Livejournal/diary/wall/dungeon door) like those given out for my previous competition. The supreme winner will also have their captions worked up with the images into a complete eye comic and displayed proudly here in a future post on The Painted Rogue blog for all to see and marvel at their genius!
